Project Resiliency

"A three day alternate to suspension program which focuses on

personal control and coping within the context of life's adversities."

 

Project Resiliency Intake:

Langley School District students in need of support can be referred by themselves, family members, school district employees or any Langley community agency. The program focuses primarily on the following areas:

  • Chronic School absenteesim (disengagement)
  • Disengagement from family/school/peers/community
  • Shifting toward negative peer group/criminal culture
  • Thrill seeking (Risky/dangerous behaviour)
  • Substance use/suspicion/possession
  • Addiction (of any kind)
  • Emotional instability or Mental Health concern
  • Self-referral
