Welcome to James Anderson Learning Centre - JALC

We warmly welcome all visitors to the JALC website, especially those who are here for the first time. JALC is a unique, specialized secondary school, located in Langley, BC.

Secondary students attending James Anderson Learning Centre are accepted and celebrated for their uniqueness. Gifted, creative, thoughtful and "lost" are often the first words used to describe new students when coming through our doors. Although these students are often underperforming academically, we "challenge" their perceptions and expect them to explore and overcome their adversities related to their academic performance, lifestyles and/or overall health. Our small student population (approx. 150 students) ensures that we are always communicating around progress and achievement.

James Anderson is currently running a waiting list for the September/2012 semester. Applicants will be contacted in May and June to set up intake appointments.
